Dr. Yuchen Hu

Dr. Hu was born and raised in San Francisco, California, and completed his schooling in California and Philadelphia before working in the Midwest. Originally from the West Coast, he and his wife Jessie are thrilled to be back home near family in Washington State. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and opened his practice in Renton in 2019.

What draws Dr. Hu to dentistry is the unique blend of art and science—he loves working with his hands and helping people smile again. For him, being able to make a meaningful difference in people's lives through his craft is what makes his work truly fulfilling. His approach combines technical skill with genuine care, creating an environment where patients feel comfortable and confident in their treatment. Dr. Hu is dedicated to remaining on the cutting edge of technology and dentistry and has completed more than 1000 hours of continuing education and completed the Clinical Mastery series in comprehensive dentistry and full mouth implant reconstruction from the Academy of Implant Excellence.

Outside the dental office, Dr. Hu has a passion for dance that might surprise people; he used to be a breakdancer and still loves to dance with his wife. He's also an enthusiastic tango dancer, and when he's not on the dance floor, you'll find him enjoying good food and exploring new destinations through travel.
