Invisalign® Clear Aligners in Renton

woman holding clear aligners If you’ve been thinking about ways to straighten your teeth without metal braces, Invisalign is a comfortable, nearly invisible way to get a healthier, more confident smile. Clear aligners gently move your teeth into place, and better yet, most people won’t even notice you’re wearing them.

At Hu Smiles of Renton, we treat many adults and teens who want orthodontic treatment that doesn’t announce itself or disrupt daily life. Whether your goal is a more confident smile, a better bite, or relief from crowded or shifting teeth, Dr. Hu will help you choose the option that fits your needs.

You always have options.

Every smile is different, and so is every treatment plan. Some patients want faster cosmetic improvements for the front teeth. Others need bite correction or space for future dental work. Dr. Hu will show you what Invisalign can do for your smile, how long treatment may take, and options, such as traditional orthodontics or limited aligner therapy.

No pressure, no judgment—just guidance and support to help you feel confident in your decision.

Things You'll Love About Invisalign Treatment

There are several great reasons why Invisalign clear aligners are so popular!
Your Invisalign, Your Secret
Invisalign trays are thin, clear, and custom-designed to fit your smile. Most people won’t notice you're wearing them, making treatment comfortable and discreet for the adult lifestyle.
Eat, Brush, and Live Normally
Unlike braces, clear aligners are removable. You can enjoy your favorite foods, brush and floss easily, and take them out for special events or photos without interrupting treatment.
Comfortable, Gentle Tooth Movement
Invisalign aligners gradually shift your teeth without metal brackets or wires. Most patients experience only light to moderate pressure when switching to a new set of trays.
Healthier Teeth and Gums
Straightening crowded or overlapping teeth makes brushing and flossing easier, helping prevent plaque buildup, gum inflammation, and future dental problems.
Treatment Options for Your Needs
Whether you need full orthodontic correction or a cosmetic touch-up, we’ll show you your options, including treatment time, cost, and alternatives, so you can choose what works best.

Frequently Asked Questions

Invisalign can correct many of the same issues as traditional braces, using clear aligners rather than metal brackets and wires.

Crowded or overlapping teeth — Crowded teeth can make brushing and flossing difficult, increasing the risk of decay and gum inflammation. Invisalign gently creates space so teeth can align properly and become easier to clean.

Gaps or spacing between teeth — Aligners can close spaces for both cosmetic improvement and gum health. Some patients also need space closed before future dental work, such as crowns or implants.

Teeth that shifted after braces  It’s common for teeth to move when retainers stop being worn. Invisalign is often used to correct these relapses quickly and discreetly.

Mild bite problems — Certain overbites, underbites, and crossbites can improve with aligners, which may also reduce uneven tooth wear or jaw strain.

If you’re not sure whether you qualify, Dr. Hu will take a digital scan and show you a preview of your smile before and after treatment. If your case is more complex, Dr. Hu will explain alternative orthodontic options or combination treatments. You'll choose the path that fits your timeline, budget, and goals.

How does Invisalign work?

You’ll wear a series of clear aligners that gradually move your teeth. Each set is worn for one to two weeks for 20-22 hours daily, and many patients see changes within the first few weeks. The aligners are removable for eating, brushing, and important events, making them easy to fit into your everyday life.

How long does Invisalign treatment take?

Invisalign treatment time depends on how much movement your teeth need. It also depends on your compliance in wearing your aligners as instructed. Some cases take just a few months, while others take a year or more. Dr. Hu will map out each stage of treatment so you know what to expect from start to finish.

Will Invisalign be noticeable?

Most people won’t realize you’re wearing aligners unless you tell them. The trays are thin, clear, and custom-molded to your teeth. There are no metal brackets, wires, or frequent appointments for adjustments.

Invisalign® Clear Aligners Technology

Panoramic X-Rays

Panoramic X-Rays

Panoramic x-rays capture a complete view of your entire mouth, including all teeth, upper and lower jaws, sinuses, and TMJ joints, in a single image. This comprehensive scan takes just seconds and helps Dr. Hu evaluate wisdom teeth position, detect hidden dental problems, assess jaw relationships, and plan complex treatments like full mouth reconstruction or All-on-4. Unlike individual x-rays that show small sections, panoramic imaging gives a complete picture of your oral health in one quick, comfortable scan.
